Project Nursery: Shelve it

       The next baby project came to us in the form of another hand-me-down from my parents. In redecorating my old bedroom, they were getting rid of this green wooden shelf. 

 

Of course, I can't resist anything free.

       I picked up a can of Ralph Lauren paint (on sale) in grey for $7.00 and whipped out my trusty paint brush. A good wipe down, and two coats of paint later I had myself a shelf fit for our nursery. 

Here's my freshly grey shelf, a $7.00 project, just waiting for Mr. Milam to put him up on the wall.
