3 Weeks Old

Before Nolan arrived I wavered for weeks on whether Jon and I should bite the bullet and have professional newborn photos taken. After I met Nolan and saw how good looking he was (biased perhaps?), it almost pushed me over the edge in getting a photographer over to our house asap to snap some images. But alas, in an effort to save our moolah, we opted to forgo the professional photog and instead see what kind of magic I could work with a camera. A photographer, I absolutely am not.  And, if it weren't for the magic of iphoto editing, most of the shots that I snap wouldn't be decent enough to make it up on this blog.  But, in an effort to capture the early weeks on Nolan's life we've been having little impromptu photo sessions in our living room. And may I just mention that newborns are not necessarily the easiest subjects to shoot.
Here are some images of this weeks session,
celebrating Nolan at 3 weeks.

Here's one of our out takes.

And a BIG thank you to Aunt Felissa
who handmade Nolan this amazing heart blanket.
We love it!

  1. He is seriously adorable, can you email me a photo so I can put it up on our wall? I'm glad you like the blanket.
